The chain in Akhila's hand accidentally falls around Kalyani's neck as she enters Trichambaram. Akhila consoles Nandana as she criticises Kalyani. Later, Kalyani feels happy when Sarojini performs the 'arathi' for her. Meanwhile, Vilasini mocks Kalyani while she prepares 'ivnedyam' for the puja. She decides to make Kalyani trip, but Anand saves Kalyani from falling.
