The period drama series Rani Rashmoni that stars Gourab Chatterjee as Mathurbabu, Ditipriya Roy as Rani Maa and Sourav Saha as Gadadhar Chattopadhyay, is extremely popular among its audience and so are the actors. Gourab, who plays the role of Mathurbabu on the show, recently got married to his longtime girlfriend Devlina Kumar in an intimate wedding ceremony. And his aim for their post-wedding Darjeeling trip was quite a unique one.

A trip to Darjeeling

The couple who got married on December 9 this year, had announced earlier that they would be taking a short trip right after their wedding to the beautiful town of Darjeeling. Soon after the wedding, the couple left for the hills for their trip. Devlina shared on her social media handle about one of the main attractions of their visit there.

In the caption of a recent Instagram post, the Bengali actor revealed that they finally visited Gourab’s childhood school after talking about visiting it together some day ever since they began dating.

St. Paul’s School

Devlina wrote that Gourab had always wanted to take her there to show her where he grew up studying. She added that it was one of their bucket list goals to see the St. Paul’s School in Darjeeling together, which they were finally able to tick off. At the end of the caption, she also emphasised on how happy this visit made her new husband that he could not stop grinning. And from what we see in the photo, it is evident that the couple was exceptionally happy.

Dressed in a red bomber jacket and ripped denim bottoms paired with a beanie, Devlina looked adorable beside her husband. Gourab looked just as amazing in his long beige winter coat, checkered blue scarf, and denim bottoms.
