JNU’s Vinod Kumar Chaudhary hold 9 Guinness World Records for typing with his nose, typing blindfolded and more. Learn more about this talented man here.

Many people around the globe have discovered new hidden talents during the year-long lockdown. However, JNU’s Vinod Kumar Chaudhary isn’t one among them. He has realized his love for typing years back and has been honing the skill for quite some time now. Currently, he holds 9 Guinness Records for his typing skills. Vinod Kumar Chaudhary is a computer operator at JNU, who has truly explored his love for typing over the years. Read on to know about all the records he holds.

 

Vinod says that he once saw a man typing with his nose on TV and that’s when he thought, “I can also do it.” “I started practicing & continued until I broke the record” added Vinod. He earned his first record in 2014 for typing 103 characters in 46.30 seconds with his nose. His second record was for typing all alphabets blindfolded in 6.71 seconds in 2016. This was followed by a record for fastest typing in 6.09 seconds.

In 2017, he set a Guinness World Record for typing all alphabets within 18.65 seconds holding a stick in his mouth. Later, he broke his own record in 2018 by achieving the same feat in 17.69 seconds. He says that he practices harder every day to break his own records and add a new achievement to his list. Proving this, he broke his record yet again in 2019, by completing it in 17.01 seconds.

Vinod Kumar also holds the record for fastest typing with one hand. In 2019, he again registered his name in the Guinness book for fastest typing with one finger for typing all the alphabets in 29.53 seconds. However, his last record wasn’t for typing but something completely different altogether. Talking about it, he said, “My latest record is for most tennis ball touches using the hand 205 times in a minute.”

Vinod Kumar Chaudhary who currently holds 9 Guinness World Records aims to surpass Sachin Tendulkar and hold 19 Guinness World Records. He also said that he idolizes Milkha Singh and his love for sports and speed is what keeps him motivated everyday.
