Driving Me Crazy is a short comedy film that released recently on ZEE5. The film stars Tina Ahuja, Mudit Nair and Shrashti Maheshwari in lead roles. This light-hearted comedy revolves around a girl names Rinki who meets her uber-cool boyfriend on a dating app. However, later in a turn of events, she gets to know that her boyfriend is a cab driver. This comedy does not only keep you glued to your seats, it will also tickle your funny bones with its dialogues and representation.

Rinkie is a fun-loving girl who uses dating apps and loves to live her life freely. She finds a guy on the dating app and goes for a date. Eventually, Rinkie starts liking her ‘filmy’ boyfriend. She goes on her third date where she asks him about what he does for his living however, her boyfriend Vibhas dodges the career bullet and asks for a dance. The duo romantically dances with each other. Later, after her date, she gets in cab with her friend and finds out that her boyfriend is actually a cab driver. She confronts him and ends up getting a ‘filmy’ answer again.

Though the plot of the short film was quite interesting, it built up the expectation that the movie would have a happy ending with the couple spending their life happily ever after. Though the climax made it interesting with the revelation of the boy being a cab driver. The audience can look forward to what the girl would do next. But instead of scolding or leaving anyway, the ‘filmy’ ending with the boy calling his drive a ‘test-drive’ and the girl going with him made it a treat to watch.

The dialogue delivery and representation was kept simple which made the movie look more real. However, there was a lack in the flow of the film with scenes cutting off without a proper end to every scene. But all in all, it was a simple short film with a strong message that identities of a person on a dating app can be misleading and dangerous in some cases.
