Actress Gul Panag voiced two documentary films, “Tiger Queen of Taru” and “On the Brink”, for National Geographic India.

Actress Gul Panag has collaborated with National Geographic India and has voiced two documentary films that were screened on the event of Earth Day on April 22, 2021. The documentary series is called Planet Possible.

The documentary series consists of two films “Tiger Queen of Taru” and “On the Brink”, and Gul Panag features in both the films as a voice artist. Both documentaries are directed by the famous documentary maker Aishwarya Sridhar. The film Tiger Queen of Taru follows the life of a tigress Maya in Tadoba Andhari Tiger reserve while the documentary On the Brink talks about the extinction of two endangered species: Gharial crocodiles and Indian Pangolin. The 2 part documentary series is available on Disney+ Hotstar.

In relation to the documentary series, Planet Possible, Gul Panag said, “The purpose of such work is to invite planet lovers to share and revel in the joys of what Nature has to offer.” Gul had also added that the project is quite close to her heart. When the makers of the series approached Gul for the role of the voice artist, she immediately agreed to work on the project without any hesitation. Gul Panag has previously worked in many films and web series. Some of the famous films she has been a part of includes, Dor, Dhoop, Manorama Six Feet Under and Ab Tak Chappan 2.
