Khanderaya requests Mhalsa and Maayananda to come inside the palace. Khanderaya asks Mhalsa if she wants to leave Jejuri permanently. Maayananda questions Khanderaya as to why he married Banu. Khanderaya replies to Maayananda that his second marriage is surely happening. He asks Mhalsa if she still wishes to go to Nevasa. Mhalsa replies to him that she would stay back in Jejuri. Lakshmi requests Pradhanji to not interfere in Khanderaya's affairs. On the other hand, Banu tells Manje that she wants to meet Mhalsa and requests her to not leave Jejuri.
