Lallan comes to Sagar's house to seek Mahua's hand in marriage. Mahua tells her family that he has been a caring and honest friend. Lallan behaves like a village bumpkin in front of the family and is a total nervous wreck. Lallan admits to Sagar that he has no job right as of now but is searching for one. Sagar asks Lallan and Mahua whether they want to marry in the week itself! They are taken aback. Sindoora strongly disapproves but Sagar tells her that Lallan is honest and will keep Mahua happy. Sagar says that Lallan can be employed in their office. Sindoora vows to seek revenge from Harsh for bringing Lallan to her house! During the pre-nuptial ceremony the same evening, Vidya decides to gather evidence against Harsh from his room. While she is reaching the drawer, Sindoora comes and slyly places an envelope in it. Vidya then takes away the air tickets in the envelope. During the pre-nuptial ceremony, overwhelmed with guilt, Lallan tells Mahua that he loves her very much but cannot marry her! Lallan admits to Sagar that he has already deceived her enough because everything was pre-planned. To become a part of the family and then demand for a share in the inheritance! Sagar is furious but Lallan apologises to him. Harsh is shocked seeing all this and puts on an act of being angry with Lallan.
