Nail Polish: Arjun Rampal Shares Why The Film Is So Special To Him And Also Talks About Its Mystery

Nail Polish, a courtroom thriller directed by Bugs Bhargava Krishna, released on ZEE5 on January 1. The film stars Arjun Rampal, Manav Kaul, Anand Tiwari, and Rajit Kapur in the main roles. In an interaction with Arjun Rampal, who plays the role of a defence lawyer, he revealed why this film is extra-special to him and also told us about his reaction to this mysterious case. Arjun Rampal, a National Award-winning actor, has been known mostly for his roles in thriller films. This time again, he stars in Nail Polish, a film with a dark plot and a mysterious case. The film revolves around the case of the killing of 38 migrant children. A man, Veer Singh (Manav Kaul), is accused of those killings and Sid Jaisingh (Arjun Rampal) is appointed as his lawyer, to defend him in the court. The film opens up a lot of things not only about the case but also about the uncertainties of the human mind.

Arjun Rampal shared that when the director approached him with the script, he asked him a lot of things, like what the case was and who the characters were. But the first thing he asked him was, why he named the film Nail Polish. To this, the director Bugs Bhargava Krishna simply asked him to read the script. Arjun said, “When I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. I kept reading it and it brought a big broad smile on my face when I found out why the name was Nail Polish.”

About the film, Arjun also said, “Nail Polish’s case is the most interesting case I have come across. It’s so unpredictable.” And the film really turned out to be so. The case of Nail Polish is really so intense and mysterious, it splits your mind into thoughts of who is right and who is wrong. The mystery of this film will keep you hooked to your screens. “They (the audience) are going to be in for a ride,” Arjun Rampal added further.

Nail Polish is a very special film for Arjun Rampal, as it marks the beginning of his 20th year in the industry. He said, “I could not have had a better gift than Nail Polish to mark my 20 years in the industry. And I am really grateful to Bugs and the whole team for giving it to me.”
