Santoshi agrees to go to Kolkata to take up a cook’s job. She returns INR 500 to a boy who plays a prank and slaps her on the road. Pushpa introduces herself and takes Santoshi to Madhu’s room.

Santoshi starts working as a cook in someone’s house. Debi Paulomi tries to cause trouble there. Meanwhile, her grandma is looking for her. Devi Paulomi plots to ruin Santoshi’s cooking.

Santoshi’s aunt tells her grandmother that she had sent her to Janardhan’s boss’ house as a maid for Janardhan’s promotion. Later, when people see Bittu’s lover, Bittu puts the blame on Santoshi.

Bittu’s lover says he is Santoshi’s lover at Bittu’s request. Santoshi decides to leave the house on account of this false charge. Santoshi’s grandmother supports her and decides to leave with her.

Santoshi leaves the house with her grandma. They take refuge at the Goddess Santoshi temple. Pushpa gets frustrated when Santoshi does not arrive at work. Meanwhile, Santoshi returns a man's purse.

Santoshi’s relatives accuse her grandmother of stealing jewellery and take her to the police station. Pushpa calls Santoshi’s aunt to know Santoshi’s whereabouts. Santoshi learns Bittu’s lover’s plan.

After hearing Bittu’s lover’s real plan, Santoshi alerts Bittu, but she does not listen. Bittu’s lover puts drugs in her drink and makes her consume it. Santoshi reaches the spot with the police.

Santoshi hands over Bittu’s lover to the cops. Santoshi’s family arrives there and discovers that Bittu stole the jewellery. Grandmother refuses to forgive Janardan and his wife when they apologise.
