Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is a complete family entertainer. Don’t miss it. Watch it this weekend exclusively on ZEE5.

There are very few films that can effortlessly tickle your funny bone and Silambarasan’s Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is one such rib-tickler. The Sundar C directorial is an action-comedy film that shows Silamabarasan in the coolest possible avatar. As Adithya aka Raja, Silambarasan will entertain you by coming across as a rich brat who has his heart in the right place.

The filmmaker has woven an emotional story in such a way that it doesn’t get disturbing for you to digest. He has kept the narrative linear, which makes it easy for the viewers to comprehend the context. Moreover, the way the filmmaker has treated the subject is commendable as you don’t feel emotionally heavy at any given point during the entire length of the film.

Silambarasan is the knight in the shining armour, who smacks the villains in the blink of an eye. He is larger-than-life, witty, and a smoking hot dude who knows how to get things done at the drop of a hat. Adithya is the grandson of a multi-millionaire named Raghunandan. He is settled in Madrid and is set to inherit his grandfather’s wealth. Raghunandan wishes to meet his daughter Nandini, whom he had disowned for marrying a man of her choice.

Raghunandan has not seen or spoken to her for decades. He wishes to make his 80th birthday a memorable one by reuniting with his daughter and her family. He entrusts Adithya with the responsibility of making his dream come true. To know what Adithya does to convince his aunt, you will have to watch the film, because we aren’t giving away any clues.

Coming to the performances, the entire cast has done a commendable job. From the main leads to the character artists to the supporting cast, everyone has done complete justice to their characters. And when there are performers like Prabhu, Nasser and Ramya Krishnan on board, you need not look elsewhere. Megha Akash as Maya and Catherine Tresa as Priya have also played their parts well.

Music is peppy and hummable. Overall, Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is a complete family entertainer. Don’t miss it. Watch it this weekend exclusively on ZEE5. And for more entertainment, watch Yaaradi Nee Mohini, a supernatural thriller, on ZEE5.
