Taish is an upcoming revenge drama film which will be released on 29 October. The movie features Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Jim Sarbh and Harshvardhan Rane in the lead roles.

Taish is an upcoming revenge drama film directed by Bejoy Nambiar. The movie features Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Jim Sarbh and Harshvardhan Rane in the lead roles. Taish will be released on 29 October 2020 and will be a six-episode web series. In an interview with a media portal, director Nambiar said that Taish is a test of human emotions, to fight the odds stacked against us. The movie is a revenge drama about two families and an incident that ignited a storm. Here is a list of the cast who will be seen playing interesting roles in Taish.

Pulkit Samrat as Sunny

Actor Pulkit Samrat will be seen essaying the role of Sunny, Rohan’s friend. Sunny will be the perfect example of a best friend a man can have in his life. He is a compulsive flirt with a hidden violent streak. Sunny plans to have fun in the wedding but plans to avenge Rohan’s torment at the hands of Kuljinder years ago. Sunny, who is a hot-headed person, will not rest until his plan works out the way he wants it to.

Kriti Kharbanda as Arfa Khan

Actress Kriti Kharbanda will be playing the role of Arfa Khan, who belongs to a conservative Pakistani family. Arfa is a rebellious child who moves out of the house to stay away from constant arguments with her parents. Arfa meets Rohan in school, where she was studying to become an orthopaedic surgeon. Rohan is comparatively an introvert and Arfa is the one who stands for him.

Jim Sharab as Rohan Kalra

Actor Jim Sharab will play the role of Rohan Kalra, a general physician. He is quiet, introvert, shy and a thinker more than a doer. Rohan is a person for whom expressing their feelings is a task. Sunny is Rohan’s best friend and the two used to share a room in London until the former decided to build his start-up. Rohan and Arfa’s bond grows over time and the two become close to each other. Arfa was always overprotective about Rohan and did not like people who used to make him feel bad.

Harshvardhan Rane as Pali

Actor Harshvardhan Rane will play the role of Pali, who saw his father’s business decline as he battled depression and bankruptcy. Kuljinder, Pali’s stepbrother, introduces him to the business. Pali has his own set of moral codes and despite their illegal activities and violence, he always knew that he cannot be as ruthless as his brother. Pali had blind trust on his brother and his loyalty could make him even sacrifice Jahaan. Pali always dreamt of living a regular life with Jahaan and giving her a normal life away from danger and violence.

Saloni Batra as Sanober

Actress Saloni Batra will be seen essaying the role of Sanober, who was raised in Punjab but came to the UK after her marriage at the age of 21. Sanober, Kuljinder’s daughter, gets her sister Jahaan to the UK for further studies. Sanober has a 5-year-old daughter and tries her best to keep her sister Jahaan away from her cruel husband Kuljinder.

Sanjeeda Sheikh as Jahaan

Actress Sanjeeda’s character of Jahaan will be quite interesting. Jahaan gets an opportunity to work at Kuli’s shop. Jahaan gets hurt when she gets to know that Kuljinder wants to marry her. She gets hurt by Pali and Sanober’s impassive response. After she gets to know that Pali has abandoned her and the situation has been created by her sister, she agrees to marry Kuli. Post marriage with Kuli, Jahaan continues her relationship with Pali. But after Pali’s arrest, Jahaan gets scared of his anger.

Abhimanyu Singh as Kuljinder

Kuljinder backstabbed his uncle and took over the business. He was overprotective of his stepbrothers and was the king in their business. Despite being married to Sanober, Kuli’s wanted to marry Jahaan. He manipulated Sanober to make Jahaan agree to marry him.

Arman Khera as Jassi

Jassi is the spoilt brat of the family and has easy access to drugs. Pali has always protected Jassi. Post Pali’s arrest, Jassi takes charge but lacks Pali’s vision and competence. He cares for Sanober and considers her as his own mother. He feels responsible for Kuli’s attack.

Ankur Rathee as Krish Kalra

Krish is a carefree man, just like Rohan who grew up admiring his brother. Krish always felt protected by Rohan. Moreover, even Sunny fought for Krish and since that day, he considered the former his brother. Krish meets Mahi in college and falls for her.

Zoa Morani as Mahi

Mahi is an engineer who belongs to a small family. She gets scared by Krish’s family’s grandeur and aura. Though she does not like big fat weddings, she surprises herself and Krish by demanding a lavish wedding. She invites her ex to her wedding and gets angry with Krish’s reaction.
