Shows like Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Semabaruthi, Sathya, among others, will now be available on the streaming platform with its new episodes. We are delighted to tell you that the Tamil Nadu government has permitted the resumption of filming TV serials (provided they follow the guidelines). Here’s A Quick Recap Of Yaaradi Nee Mohini!

Muthurasan (Shreekumar Ganesh) is a wealthy landowner whose stepmother, Neelambari, has killed his first wife Chithra. While Chithra is dead, her spirit continues to stay by Muthurasan’s side to protect him and the family from all the evils.

Meanwhile, Vennila (Nakshathra) is his cousin who loves him and wants to marry him. Muthurasan too is slightly attracted to Vennila after he identifies her true caring nature. He also stands beside her in all her problems; as he learns that she is naive while people in the house are taking advantage of her goodness.

Neelambari, who is set on acquiring Muthurasan’s wealth, tries to get him to marry her niece, Swetha. On the other hand, Swetha casts a spell on Mutharasan to make him forget his love for Vennila so that she can make him fall for her head-over-heels.

So, Neelambari fixes Muthurasan’s marriage with Swetha. The twist in the story comes when Swetha goes missing on her wedding day. Neelambari is upset over Swetha as her chance of acquiring Muthurasan’s wealth now seems dicey.

As Swetha goes missing, Muthurasan gets married to his cousin, Vennila. However, Swetha’s spell is still in effect and he is not entirely convinced about Swetha being evil. So, on the first night, he requests Vennila to give him some time, before they can take their relationship to the next level.

Post marriage, Muthurasan finally develops feelings for Vennila as he realises that her love and affection for him. While Neelambari, along with Marathu and Poongodi, tries all her ways to separate the two. She constantly picks on Vennila and demeans her in front of everyone.

Meanwhile, Muthurasan, who has now understood the true nature of his stepmother, makes sure to stand by his wife. He also teaches Vennila to become strong, bold, confident and brave. He is also making efforts to educate her so that no one takes her for a ride.

Meanwhile, Muthurasan’s brother Karthik is in love with Pooja, the latter too likes him. However, she hates the fact that Neelambari rules everyone in the house. She also dislikes that Karthik is also scared of her rather than questioning her (Neelambari) for wrongdoings.

So, to prove Simran that he is not afraid of Neelambari; Karthik goes to Neelambari’s room to steal the house keys in order to make a duplicate and give it to Vennila. Dr Azhagappan helps Karthik in his mission. They manage to make an impression of the key on a bar of soap but get caught by Neelambari.

Azhagappan takes the blame on him and says that it was his idea to make a spare pair of keys so that Vennila could also have one with her. Neelambari warns the two to stay away from the key. With his lame antics, Karthik only creates more problems for Vennila which instigates Neelambari to hurt Vennila more.

While everything goes fine in Muthurasan and Vennila’s life; Swetha, who went missing ever since her wedding night, is back into their lives. Swetha was apparently shot and hospitalised. Since she went into coma, there was no news from her end. Muthurasan, who finds out that Swetha is in a hospital, brings her home.

While Neelambari heaves a sigh of relief, others are shocked and scared to see her alive and back in their lives.

Swetha, who has now returned is quite harmless, as she is out of coma, but still in a vegetative state. She neither recognises anyone nor does reacts to anything. However, as days pass, Swetha shows signs of a slight improvement in her heath. When she sees Muthurasan and Vennila together, she reacts in a very strange way.

She also attempts to commit suicide. However, Muthurasan saves her life.

Meanwhile, Maruthu meets a con woman Madhavi, who tricks him to into doing business with her. Greedy Maruthu also falls for it. As Madhavi asks Maruthu to invest Rs 50 lakhs for the business, the latter asks Neelambari for the money. While Neelambari becomes doubtful, Maruthu convinces her by saying that they can earn in crores.

She then tells him that she will have to discuss the same with Muthurasan as it is his money, and he needs to be fine with this idea.

Well, looking at Swetha’s strange behaviour, we doubt about her sickness. We wonder what plan does she have in store for the two But now, wait  and watch the new episode to find out what happens next.
