Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat Season 3 Episode 1 Review: Why Does Karan Hate Tipsy?

In the previous episode, Karan and Tipsy got married after he proposed to her in front of Amma and Chetti. They are pronounced husband and wife before Sherry and Vishal in the latter’s wedding mandap! Well, everyone is happy for them but there’s one person who doubts that their marriage will last long and that is Trisha. She challenges Radhika to just wait and watch. Five years later, Tipsy has a four-year old daughter, Piya. And Karan becomes an alcoholic again and hates Tipsy!

In today’s episode, Karan’s life oscillates between hating his past and coming to terms with his present. He wins the ‘black lady’ at the Screen World Film Awards along with his co-star. While walking out, he orders his manager to demand a high fee from the promoters. Seeing this, Karan’s new friend and business-partner, Zoya observes the strange Jekyll and Hyde behaviour in him. On being confronted, Karan admits that he has become heartless because he was hurt five years ago but his wounds are still fresh!

Memories of his marriage flash before Karan’s eyes wherein he flirts with his newlywed wife, Tipsy and she reciprocates to seduce him. But all those moments have now become scary to him. When her manager tries to get Karan on a call with the media, he arrogantly shuns her away saying that everyone is desperate to meet him and it’s no big deal. Karan even slept with a man’s girlfriend who then went missing and her boyfriend comes to confront Karan at a party. There, Karan is flirting with another woman already!

Karan is upset and goes to Zoya’s to have sex. Then, Zoya asks him for a favour which he refuses coldly. Well, Zoya knows Karan for five years and she has never seen him behave so strangely. While in a heated argument, Zoya puts her foot down and asks Karan what exactly had happened five years ago and how did his marriage break up? Karan again goes into flashback wherein he introduces Tipsy to Zoya at the press event of his new film Shuddha. Karan is extremely excited for it but later, the movie flops terribly!

He remembers that Tipsy had promised to be with him always. She had even wanted to skip going to work when Karan was depressed about his flop film and wanted to drink alcohol. Today, Karan tries to explain these things to Zoya but she lacks clarity. Karan leaves his car while drinking from his flask continuously. On the other side, Tipsy arrives back in Mumbai with her daughter, Piya and her friend, Ved. Piya sees a huge hoarding of superstar Karan Khanna and wants to meet her. Next morning, Karan sees Tipsy from a distance!
