Kalyana Vaibhogam: We think Swarupa might have hurried in Janaki’s case. Here’s why

Kalyana Vaibhogam, starring Meghana Lokesh as the identical twins Manga and Nithya, and VJ Sunny as Jai, has been treating us with unexpected turns all through the way. From Manga surviving the accident to living her life as Janaki at Chari’s house, her life has been a roller-coaster ride that not many could have handled as well as her. Swarupa is finally getting to see her daughter after years, but here’s why she shouldn’t hurry with the truth by telling Janaki that she is her mother.

Manga, who now lives as Janaki, is finally settling down as she has finally gotten her life in order with Abhi out of the hospital and the constant quarreling between Abhi and Divya. She is slowly reconnecting with Jai but has very little idea about the fact that she herself is Manga. If Swarupa tells her that two seconds after meeting her, it might be a lot for her to take.

Another reason is the fact that Nithya is still a threat to Manga’s life. Not many might know this, but the accident gave Nithya a lot of happiness. Who knows, Nithya might attempt to kill her once again! Until Nithya’s true colours come out in front of everyone, it can never be safe for Manga or her kids.

Just like in the temple or the hospital, remembering glimpses of her past life makes Janaki really scared, and she might not be ready to handle the whole truth about her past life. Swarupa might want her daughter back, but telling her everything at once might disturb her to the core and compromise her mental health.

While Janaki is an adult who might be able to handle herself, Abhi and Divya know very little about life, let alone their mother’s past life. Making such deep revelations might have an unwanted impact on the kids. Handling the situation one baby step at a time might make it easier for everyone involved.
