Kalyana Vaibhogam: 5 times Chandrika covered up for Prasad and his silly slips of the tongue

With everything said and done about Chandrika and Prasad from Kalyana Vaibhogam, we know for a fact that the duo is inseparable. They have the same motives and do everything together. Every time Prasad messes up, Chandrika is right there to cover it up for him. Prasad has a slip of tongue more often than not and Chandrika covers it up every single time. Here are a few of the times she did it best!

1) When he almost reveals that he knows about Manga

Once Jai returns home, Nithya organises a grand party for him. There, Chandrika and Prasad spot her upset and ask her why she is feeling low. Nithya tells them that she found Manga’s ring with a thief who stole it from her. This indicates that she is alive. Prasad jumps in and says that he knows she is alive. Chandrika immediately covers up by saying that they know it because they know that the thief stole it from her.

2) When Prasad was evidently tensed about finding Manga’s home

When Jai gets to know that Janaki is from his town, he starts asking the kids where exactly their house is located. When Abhi starts telling him the exact location, Prasad starts getting tensed and asks Jai to stop enquiring further. Everyone notices this and asks Prasad why he is so tensed about this. Chandrika chimes in to tell them that it is because he does not want to relive the memories of that town.

3) When Prasad tells the kids that he will get a heart attack because of them

When Prasad tells the kids to leave soon because he is under stress because of them, he bursts out and gets very angry. Chandrika tells him to calm down and tells him that the kids will not understand what he means. She tells the kids to forget what said and offers to drop them home.

4) When Prasad overreacts to Jai dropping the kids home 

When Jai casually offers to drop the kids home, Prasad starts panicking because he does not want Jai to spend more time with the kids. He almost shouts at Jai and requests him to not drop the kids. Chandrika notices that Jai is suspicious and immediately diffuses the situation by telling Jai that they want him to take some rest and enjoy and that they would love dropping the kids.

5) When Prasad disapproves of Jai’s bond with the kids

When Abhi starts getting closer to Jai, Chandrika and Prasad devise a plan to keep them apart but as usual, when they get on the car, Prasad has a slip of tongue and tells them that the bond between the kids and Jai makes him tensed. Chandrika covers it up by saying that they meant it makes them sad as the kids might get distant from their mother.
