Debutante Shanaya Kapoor To Romance Gurfateh Pirzada And Lakshya Lalwani In A Karan Johar Film

It was being said that eminent Indian filmmaker Karan Johar would be launching actor Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor in Bollywood soon. And the director has officially confirmed this as well now. While Karan Johar made the announcement with a set of posts on his social media handle, Shanaya will be seen debuting opposite Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani in Bollywood.

Shanaya Kapoor is now a part of Karan Johar’s talent management agency named Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA). Karan Johar welcomed her and announced that he will be launching her in Hindi cinema with a post on his social media page recently. While stating that it is going to be an unforgettable and exciting journey, he mentioned that Shanaya’s first film with DCA will be in this July.

Not too long ago, Shanaya’s father, Sanjay Kapoor had revealed that he would not be launching her whatsoever. He had further mentioned that she would have to network with the people of the industry by herself and make links to grab an opportunity to mark her debut. Shanaya had assisted Karan Johar in the film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, and the talks of him launching her in Bollywood begun ever since. It was rumoured that the newbie would star in Student of the Year 3, however, it is untrue. While Karan Johar has not revealed the official title of the film Shanaya will be debuting with, the male actors to be starring opposite her have been finalised as of now. Shanaya will be seen romancing Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani in her debut film with DCA. Gurfateh Pirzada starred in the film Guilty, while Lakshya Lalwani is soon to be seen in another Karan Johar film Dostana 2 and has been a popular face of the Hindi television world.
