Antim: Director Mahesh Mangrekar Opens Up On Salman Khan And Aayush Sharma’s Character In The Film – Deets Inside

Antim: The Final Truth stars Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma in the lead roles. However, the director of the film Manehs Manjrekar sat in an interview with a leading publication and revealed in detail Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma’s characters in the film.

Antim: The Final Truth is an adaptation of the Marathi film ‘Mulshi Pattern’ and it casts Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma as protagonist and antagonist respectively. Salman plays the role of a good cop in the film whereas Aayush plays the role of a gangster in the film. Their on-screen presence is eagerly awaited by fans.

Apart from Salman and Aayush the film also stars Mahima Makwana, while Varun Dhawan had a special appearance in the film.

The filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar who shot the film while the pandemic infused lockdown was going on had said to a leading daily that Salman Khan will be seen playing an ‘Absolutely un-Salman-like’ role in Antim. The film marks a departure from his usual ‘Bhai-like’ roles and the director eagerly wanted Salman to ‘Shell out his Bhai image’ for Antim which he has done successfully.

Since Salman Khan will be seen in never seen before avatar, audiences are eagerly waiting for the release of the film and want to watch it on the big screens. While Salman Khan Aayush was reluctant to act on the film but later on her agreed to the dynamics that the role offered in his film.

It was difficult for Mahesh Manjrekar to market the film because Salman Khan felt that no heroine or songs are required for the film. But, he added that this is a ‘Big thing’ in a Salman Khan movie and thus they decided to keep a love interest for Aayush Sharma in the film.

On the other hand, Aayush Sharma was extremely scared when he was trying to shoot a fight scene with Salman. The actor had requested the director Mahesh Manjrekar to keep a car ready if he ends up punching Salman Khan here and there for the scene. To this, the director had joined that, ‘You will end up going home only’. He seemed to be joking about the fact that Aayush is married to Salman’s sister Arpita Khan.

Antim: The Final Truth is all set to release on ZEE5 on November 26.
