The two men don’t stand a chance against Anand and they run away scared as he gets the dagger. Anand finds Kalyani’s saree in the abandoned room and soon finds her hiding behind sheets. Anand gives her the saree and tells her that he will marry her at the very moment. Kalyani (Amala Gireeshan) reminds Anand of his promise to his mother Akhila and they continue on their way back home.

As Anand and Kalyani get in the car, Aravind calls him to asks about the situation. Anand tells him about a plan to outsmart Ganga and Vilasini. Meanwhile, Vilasini meets Akhila and tells her that Aravind didn’t let her inside to see Anand. Akhila gets busy with a call and ignores Vilasini’s complaints regarding the same. As Neeraj’s parents come for the ceremony, Vilasini and Ganga get worried about Kalyani’s whereabouts. They start suspecting that Anand is on his way to rescue Kalyani and tries to find a way to get into his room. Aravind and Subru get worried as Anand and Kalyani are getting late for the ceremony. Anand calls them up and asks them to not let Akhila inside the room. How will  Anand succeed in marrying Kalyani?
