Reportedly in an interview, Sonam has said, “The reason for not doing Hindi films… I’ll never do a kissing scene for any film even if its for a Hindi film. That’s one of the reasons why I have not been doing Hindi films… because every second film in Bollywood has a requirement of a kissing scene.” This year, however, Sonam was seen in the Hindi film Street Dancer with Varun Dhawan.

Sonam is a model of fitness and is considered one of the fittest patolas of Pollywood. Sonam believes that working out is a life-long investment and should dedicate at least 45-60 minutes to oneself every day.
