From loving their daughters-in-law to taking a stand for them, fathers-in-law like Mukund, Mahesh and AJ have truly set an example.

A father-daughter relationship is always praised and acknowledged, but what about the fathers-in-law who are equally amazing, if not more than a real father. And Zee TV shows have been a perfect example of this. Whether it’s Mukund from Hamariwali Good News or Mahesh from Kundali Bhagya, these men have redefined the role of a father-in-law. Check out this list of our favourite fathers-in-law that definitely deserve a celebration this Father’s Day.

Meanwhile, check out what’s happening on Hamariwali Good News right here:

Mukund Tiwari (Hamariwali Good News)

Both, Mukund (Shakti Anand) and Renuka (Juhi Parmar) had considered Navya (Srishti Jain) as their own daughter. And now even after Renuka’s death on Hamariwali Good News, Mukund continues to fulfil all his duties. In fact, recently he also expressed his desire to get Navya, his daughter-in-law, remarried. Mukund fulfilled all the duties of a father and even did Navya’s Kanya-daan during her marriage with Ritwik (Subir Rana).

Mahesh Luthra (Kundali Bhagya)

Even before Preeta (Shraddha Arya) got married to Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) on Kundali Bhagya, Mahesh Luthra (Naveen Saini) always considered her like his own daughter. He took her side, supported her, comforted her and loved her unconditionally as any father would do. Even now when Karan is in jail, Mahesh is her pillar of strength, constantly filling her with positivity and strength.

Dharampal Chopra (Teri Meri Ikk Jindi)

Although we couldn’t get to see much of Dharampal (Mandeep Kumar) as Jogi’s father-in-law yet, from whatever we did see in Teri Meri Ikk Jindri, he’d be an amazing one. When it came to his other two sons-in-law, he’s always been polite and considerate, even if they don’t deserve it. Moreover, Dharampal has done a huge favour on Jogi (Adhvik Mahajan) by asking Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) to stay back at his house and fulfil all her duties.

Sanjay Singh Rajawat (Apna Time Bhi Aayega)

Sanjay (Yajuvendra Singh) has been one of the underrated characters in Apna Time Bhi Aayega. Even if he doesn’t show it often, he does care about his daughter-in-law Rani (Megha Ray). And we could see it pretty clearly when he got to know about Rani’s kidnapping. Not only did he give strength to Veer (Fahmaan Khan), but he also motivated Ramadheer to not lose hope. Moreover, he’s never been a hurdle for Rani and has accepted her as his daughter-in-law, unlike Rajeshwari.

Madhav Rane (Tujhse Hai Raabta)

It’s really sad that Madhav Rane (Milind Pathak) is not a part of Tujhse Hai Raabta anymore. When he was introduced by Kalyani (Reem Shaikh) to the Rane family, especially Malhar (Sehban Azim), their happiness knew no bounds. Moreover, he even sided with Kalyani over his daughter Swara and proved to be an amazing father-in-law on many different occasions.

Akshat Jindal (Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega)

Akshat (Nishant Singh Malkani) became a father-in-law without even having kids. His three daughters-in-law on Guddan – Tumse Na Ho Payega, Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati, loved AJ very dearly and vice-versa. He always thought about their well being and happiness before his, making him a worthy addition to this list.
