Doctor babu returns home and after listening to his mother's problem, decides to support his wife Parama. He tells everyone in the house how he feels proud to have an intelligent wife. On knowing this, Parama's father-in-law also supports her for her detective work. This is when Parama's mother-in-law refuses to let the discussion go any further, interrupting that years ago even she was asked to let go of her desire to play Sitar. In the meantime, Parama interrupts saying that because this household had old rules of not letting the ladies work earlier, does not mean that the latest generation shall also suffer.
