Akbar learns music from Tansen so that he can sing during the occasion of his and Jodha's wedding anniversary. Meanwhile, Salim and Haider visit Zohra Begum's court where Salim chooses one of the girls. But Haider gets very nervous and seems to be traumatised. The woman selected by Salim tells him that she loves him. At once, Salim gets annoyed and tells her to not speak of love. He remembers Anarkali and vents out his frustration before leaving the place.
