Mahamanga gets furious with the death of her son and curses Akbar that he too will suffer the loss of his child. She later prays to Allah saying that Jodha's baby should be dead at birth. Seeing Mahamanga cursing and shouting against Jodha's baby, Akbar immediately asks his soldiers to take her away. Later, Akbar decides to stay alone and shouts at Rukaiyya Begum when she tries to speak with him. Akbar feels disturbed and burns his throne as he feels that the throne is responsible for all the problems in his life. Jodha sees this and tries to extinguish the fire. She prays to god and asks to give him strength.
