A special meeting is arranged for Rukaiyya Begum with Akbar. There she tells Akbar that out of all his begums, she is the only one without a child and asks Akbar to give her one of the twin babies that Jodha will be giving birth to. Akbar gets shocked listening to this and decides to speak to Jodha about it. Later, Shareef-ud-din takes his baby and pretends like he is playing with the baby and is caring for it in front of Jodha.
