Rukaiyya begum is extremely happy on hearing that Jodha has decided to give her second child to her. She asks Jodha to give it in writing that the second child will belong to her. But Akbar gets extremely upset on hearing this. Shareef-ud-din's father slaps him for bearing the insult caused by Akbar in front of the entire haram. Shareef-ud-din says that he too is furious with Akbar and wants to have his revenge. Shareef's father tells him that the only way to have the revenge is to kill Akbar and it must be done extremely carefully. Later, Akbar goes to Rukaiyya Begum and asks her to give it in writing that if she is not able to take care of the baby, the baby will go back to Jodha.
