Akbar is blinded by his hunger for blood. He does not even leave a crying infant in his enemy's camp. He raises his sword to kill the kid but just then the child's mother reaches there and asks him to kill both of them. Akbar immediately gets ready to use his sword on the innocent Rajvashis but just then, he imagines Jodha standing in font of him with her two babies. Akbar stops himself and when he turns around and sees a sea of dead bodies. He begins to cry helplessly and accuses God for turning him into a demon that is responsible for this massacre. He decides to never believe in God again and even refuses the proposal of meeting Salim Chishti. He later agrees to meet Chishti as it might give him some peace of mind. Meanwhile, Jodha gets the news that Akbar has won the battle but she is upset that he had killed thousands of innocent people during the war.
