Akbar declares that Rashid is not a traitor as he and Jodha had earlier saved Prince Saleem from death. He proves to be the incarnation of justice. Akbar says that it is Rashid, who made a mistake by serving his guest that appeared in the form of his friend-turned-dacoit, Yaku. Rukaiyya Begum gets angry with Akbar for forgiving Rashi and tries to speak to him about it but he refuses to listen to her. Rukhayya goes to meet Saleem and Akbar later gets angry with her as she had been visiting Saleem inspite of his warnings against doing so. He finally announces a punishment whereby Rukaiyya Begum is not allowed to leave the kingdom until Saleem's punishment comes to an end and adds that if she is to be caught going out to meet Saleem, then all of the guards would be punished.
