Akbar and Jodha are shocked to know that Saleem has burnt the insaaf ka taraju. Ammijan is scared that something dreadful is going to happen and the same happens. The very next day, Akbar announces that Saleem will go to fight a war. He also adds that he will not be given any special treatment as a Rajkumar. Though everybody is surprised to see this action of Akbar, Rukkhaiya cunningly laughs in her room as it was her plan to separate Jodha and Saleem.
