Banu loses all her hopes and dreams of a happy married life. She decides to leave Jejuri. She also asks Manje to get ready to vacate the mansion. Khanderaya comes to Mhalsa with a hope to get her consent to meet Banu. He tries several times to get the approval, but Mhalsa continues to resist each time. On the other hand, villagers observe Banu walking away from the town. Kumbhak too learns about the circumstances and decides to take advantage of the situation.
