Suryakant offers some money to Kshitij for household expenses but the latter refuses saying that he only needs their love, not money. Suryakant is very proud of Kshitij. Suryakant gives Savitri the money and assures Savitri that he will build a new Garodia Niwas if she is by his side. On the other hand, Rasik scolds Menka for taunting Pavitra and asks her to remain calm because Pavitra could throw them out of the house. Rasik promises to teach Pavitra a lesson someday! Meanwhile, Lakshmi refuses to believe that her father could ever dishonour a woman and recalls an incident where Suryakant had disallowed Rasik from doing so. She decides to unravel the truth. Lakshmi phones Suryakant and inquires about Raman Mathur but he asks her to enjoy her holidays. Karan continues to torment Lakshmi. Meanwhile, at Garodia Niwas, Pavitra gifts a pair of anklets and a courtesan's attire to Menka! An enraged Menka refuses to wear it saying she is not a tuppence worth courtesan! Pavitra threatens to throw Menka out of the house if she wouldn't wear them! Rasik advises her to wear it, or they would be rendered homeless.
