Menka tells Yuvraj how Pavitra has been ill-treating everybody at home. She then informs how Pavitra had called Suryakant home and humiliated even him. Menka urges Yuvraj to stop her before it is too late. Rasilibai overhears and tells Kajri about it. Kajri says that she will first torment and defame Suryakant and his four daughters, and then it will be Menka's turn! Durga receives a phone call from a lady bribed by Kajri asking Durga and her sisters to come to the sari shop in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Savitri returns home and is shocked to see a letter written by her daughters saying they have gone to meet their father at a sari shop. On the other hand, Suryakant is shocked to see his daughters and hides. Kajri and Rasilibai too come there just then. Kajri informs them that Suryakant is a mere salesman in the shop, and not a shop proprietor. Kajri sees Suryakant hiding and threatens him to come out! She then humiliates him in front of his daughters and orders him to reveal the truth to his girls. However, the daughters tell Pavitra that they are proud of their father because he earns money by toiling hard, and not by swindling others! Lakshmi warns Pavitra not to dare compare a courtesan like her with her respectful father! An enraged Pavitra orders the owner to fire Suryakant but he retorts that a courtesan cannot order him around, and warns her never to step into his shop again. Pavitra promises to avenge this humiliation from Suryakant, so Savitri slaps her!
