The priest manages to control the fury of the mob and makes them realise that they have no right to malign a woman. Jhanvi feels relieved when the people apologise for the mistake. Meanwhile, Saraswati is shocked when Kajri prohibits her to feed her daughter, Kiran. Kajri tells Saraswati that it is a punishment for not obeying her orders. She also prohibits Savitri and her daughters from eating anything. After passing a night of starvation, Saraswati decides to request Kajri to forgive her and give Kiran something to eat as she is crying because of hunger. After repeated requests, Kajri decides to give her something to eat. However, Saraswati is shocked when Kajri throws the bread in front of her and asks her to take it for Kiran.
