Devyani welcomes her son and his new bride to her house. In Garodia Niwas, Baa asks everyone to get ready for Jhanvi and Nikhil's wedding soon. Nikhil receives a call from home informing him that his sister-in-law Suman is unwell and is asking for him, but Nikhil refuses to believe and asks the person not to phone him. Nikhil informs Jhanvi about it and say that he will not go because they will never accept their relationship, so Jhanvi suggests that they get married and visit them. Devyani later tells Akash that he is fortunate to have a wife like Gauri. Devyani also cautions him about ever making her bow her head in shame. Gauri waits for Akash like a coy bride, so Akash orders to remove her veil! Gauri is shocked. Akash tells her that he married her only because his mother wanted him to but he can never accept her as his wife. He warns Gauri not to interfere in his life and threatens her not to complain to his mother! Gauri weeps uncontrollably. The next morning, Baa and Menka ask Yuvraj to fetch Gauri from her in-laws' place but Saraswati and Jhanvi warn him not to. Devyani holds a small gathering at her place where the bride unveils her face. The women lifts Gauri's veil and disapprove of her looks. They tell Devyani that Gauri did not match up to the prince that Akash is! Saraswati and Kshitij arrive just then and are shocked. Devyani asserts that Gauri is the most beautiful girl for her because she has a heart of gold! Saraswati takes Gauri home. On the other hand, Nikhil informs Savitri that he needs go to home soon but only after he marries Jhanvi, so he requests her to have the wedding at the earliest.
