Vidya pleads innocence and says that she did have the keys but never touched the safe. Vidya further says that she had sold the gold bangles that her mother had given her for her wedding and bought the guitar. Aniket accuses Sindoora of plotting the conspiracy and demands to know why she had burnt the guitar if she claims she loves Sagar. Sindoora is shocked and Vidya too defends her. But Sindoora demands to know what Vidya's selfish motive is, defending her in front of Aniket! Sindoora warns Vidya that her brother will have to pay dearly for marrying her! Sindoora cautions Vidya to take care of Sagar and herself, for one of them may die too! Vidya wonders who stole the money. Meanwhile, Hema hands over Rs. 10,000 to Harsh and says that she had got a duplicate key made. Harsh says that since she had the keys now, she could steal as much money as possible! Sagar goes for the music competition as an 8 year old, and everyone is surprised. The children in the audience start calling him a madman for lying about his age! Sagar keeps saying that he is not mad and breaks down. Vidya is distressed and talks to the judges. She mentions that an accident had made this condition of him. She pleads with them to fulfil Sagar's dream and the judges relent on humanitarian grounds. Sindoora is stunned! However, Sagar has left the stage. Sindoora and Vidya go searching for him when Sindoora hears the strumming of the guitar. Sindoora locks him from outside and switches off the light. Sagar calls out for help and to Vidya but of no avail. Vidya feels that Sagar is in trouble, so she sets out to search for him again and finds him in the room. A frightened Sagar refuses to play the guitar, so Vidya convinces him to play by saying that his father had seen an artiste in him and that's why he had gifted a guitar to him. Sindoora is sure that Sagar will not have the guts to come on stage but her hopes are dashed when Vidya brings him on stage!
