Vidya goes to tend to Sagar but Uma asks her not to and orders her to leave the room. When she goes out of the room, Kartik pulls her and mocks that Harsh was taking care of her needs, but she could have come to him also! Just then Kaushalya arrives and warns Kartik that she will complain to Uma and Aniket about it. However, Kartik tells them that nobody will heed them and threatens that on the contrary, if he'd say that Vidya had tried to seduce him, everyone will believe him! Kaushalya asks Vidya to return home but Vidya replies that Sagar is here, and she will face the problem, not run away from it. Chandra comes to her room and is surprised to see Harsh inside. Harsh tells her that he used to love Vidya but from the time he had set his eyes on her, he had fallen in love with her. Just then, Sindoora enters the room and takes Chandra away, while Harsh hides. Hema enters the room and tells Harsh that her ploy has worked! Hema says to herself that once Harsh would become the son-in-law of the house, Shalu would stop being infatuated by him and she would then get Shalu married to Sagar! Vidya volunteers to cook something for Sagar but Uma asks the cook not to let Vidya enter the kitchen again. Just then, Hema asks Shalu to prepare a sweet dish for Sagar, so Uma allows her. A dejected Vidya prays to God and vows not to eat or drink until Uma believes her innocence. Bharat and Cheenu overhear and feel bad. A stubborn Vidya goes to Sagar's room to feed him the Holy Water but goes away when she recalls Sindoora's warning to steer clear from her brother's room. Hema enters Sagar's room and forces Shalu to impress Sindoora by tending to Sagar. Sindoora sternly asks them to leave. Later at night, Vidya sees Sagar in discomfort and tends to him. The nurse wakes up and asks Vidya to leave the room. Vidya sleeps near his door. The next morning Vidya sneaks into the room and looks for the Holy Water. Sindoora enters the room and pours it all on the floor!
