Vidya comes to Sagar's rescue by asking him to read the form details and helping him with its meaning. Sagar is delighted, whereas his sisters are annoyed. Sagar is about to leave, when Vidya sees Harsh at the door and is shocked! Hema lies that Harsh is a distant cousin brother of Vidya. Harsh hugs Vidya, much to her discomfort. He whispers to her that it will be so easy for him to throw Sagar out of the house! Vidya tells Kaushalya that she will confide the truth to Uma, so Hema warns Vidya that she had lied because Vidya's sisters-in-law would have thrown her out of the house and Sagar would have been left all alone then. She reminds Vidya about her promise to her deceased father-in-law. Kaushalya too agrees with Hema. Meanwhile, Harsh gives expensive gifts to Sindoora and her sisters. Chandra is impressed with him. Harsh vows that in spite of Vidya working hard to get him out of the house, he will make some arrangement to stay back! He then scolds Hema for betraying him again but she reminds him that if he were to say that he wanted to marry Vidya, then Uma would have thrown him out of the house. Hema thinks of a plan where the entire family will see Vidya and him together. Meanwhile, Sindoora warns Chandra to keep away from Harsh. Shalu sees Cheenu and is enamoured by him but Hema tells her that the day the truth about Harsh will be out, Vidya will be thrown out and Sagar would belong to Shalu then! At the dining table, Harsh informs Sindoora and others that he will tell everything about Vidya to them so that they can understand her better. Vidya gets upset and walks away.
