Gayatri gives gifts to Chandra and Mahua. When asked about Kartik and Harsh, Chandra accuses Vidya of destroying her marriage. However, Mahua says that Vidya had only exposed Kartik's misdeeds. Gayatri feels bad that nobody in her brother's family is happy. Gayatri then overhears Vidya tell Cheenu that she is sure that Sagar will soon recall everything. Meanwhile, Aniket refuses to have his favourite `kheer' prepared by Vidya. Bharat requests his mother to ask Vidya to feed him. He tells Gayatri that his father eats only from Vidya's hand. Sindoora puts on an act of getting scared about Aniket being in Vidya's care. Gayatri pacifies her that Aniket's well-being is of prime importance and promises to always keep an eye on Vidya. Sindoora says that she must do something to convince Gayatri to throw Vidya out of the house. The next morning, Sindoora informs everyone that she is holding a religious ceremony for Aniket's recovery and the lamp must burn the entire night for her wish to get fulfilled. Later, she pours oil on the floor near the lamp and asks Vidya to get Holy Water placed near the lamp. Vidya slips on the oil and the lamp gets extinguished. Sindoora pretends to be upset and accuses Vidya of intentionally extinguishing the lamp so that Aniket never gets cured!
