Hema is disappointed that because of Sagar's condition, her plans to convince Cheenu about their plight had backfired. Meanwhile, Dr. Sudarshan exchanges the tablet pouch and gives them to Sagar. Sagar's roommate witnesses this. On the other hand, Lallan meets Kartik and tells him of a plan to win back Mahua. Mahua is sitting in a restaurant with Lallan and pretends to be happy with him. Kartik, who is also there, walks away and she feels bad. Seeing Mahua's plight, Lallan vows to bring Kartik and her together. Meanwhile, Hema steals Chandra's expensive necklace and puts it in Shalu's drawer. Chandra returns home and sees it missing. She is furious when finds her necklace in Shalu's room. Chandra berates Shalu for stealing it. Shalu pleads innocence but Chandra calls Shalu and her mother beggars and asks Harsh to call the police to search their belongings. Cheenu gets angry and says that everyone has been treating him and his family like servants from a long time! He says that he does not want to stay in the house any more and will be leaving home with Hema and Shalu. However, Hema's plan backfires when Cheenu says that he does not want a penny from the family! Hema and Shalu pack their bags and take away everything they can, but Cheenu throws them away. Hema asks Cheenu to demand his share of the inheritance from the family but he asserts that he is an orphan and won't take a penny! Vidya assures Uma that she won't let Cheenu leave home. However, a triumphant Sindoora says to herself that Vidya could not stop Sagar from leaving home nor can she stop Cheenu now. She says that she even has a plan to get Vidya thrown out of the house!
