Harsh reads an article published in a newspaper ridiculing Surili and her flop films. He further reads about Sheel taking the house back from her. Surili gets furious with him. He realises that Surili surely has some ace up her sleeve because of which Sindoora was allowing her to stay back. Meanwhile, Sagar, Vidya and the others stage the drama before the family but Samir who is supposed to be Lord Rama's son goes missing. Just then Surili comes as the demon Ravana and challenges Lord Rama to a battle if he wants his son back. Vidya and the others wonder how Ravana had appeared in the play. Sagar, playing the role of Lord Rama, asks Ravana to give his son back, and Rama and his son embrace. The entire family is happy to see this. After the drama, Surili apologises to Uma for changing the epic just to get Sagar and Samir together. Vidya and Kaushalya are dejected. As a token of appreciation, Uma gifts Surili gold bangles. Surili puts on an act and praises Vidya for her efforts to stage the play. Sindoora too lauds Surili's efforts and belittles Vidya. The next morning, Vidya places gifts in Sagar and Samir's beds. She lies to Sagar that Samir must have kept the gift, and lies to Samir as well. However, Surili takes credit for the entire idea! On seeing Vidya, Surili says that giving the gifts was Vidya's idea but Uma does not believe Surili and praises her for her efforts. Surili then tells Vidya that she doesn't know why all the credit is being given only to her of late. Vidya replies that it does not matter as long as Sagar and Samir become good friends. Surili agrees and says that it is obvious that Vidya would want Surili out of the house soon.
