Shantanu apologises to Asmita for his misconduct, but she refuses to talk to him. Elsewhere, Moushmi accuses Asmita of two-timing with Ridoy and Shantanu, but Nivedita silences her. Shantanu and Asmita reminisce about their bitter childhood memories and argue with each other. Shantanu kisses Asmita, but later regrets doing so. Upon being persuaded by Asmita, Shantanu confesses his love for her, but says that he can’t steal his brother’s love. Later, a devastated Asmita faints in Shantanu’s arms.
