Tara gets shocked when she sees Devika going towards Chandni's room in the midnight. She slyly follows her and the moment Devika enters the room, Tara bolts the door from outside. She then goes down in the living area and calls everyone. Nahar gets irked when Tara tells him that she has finally proved that Devika is Chandni. She further tells Nahar that she saw Devika going inside Chandni's room and has locked her inside. Everyone goes there to verify the truth. However, Tara is shocked when she does not find Devika inside Chandni's room. Meanwhile, Devika thanks Neel for helping her to get out from Chandni's room. Nahar then tells Tara to stop suspecting Devika. The next day, Devika meets Neel and asks him why he had helped her the previous night. Neel tells her that like her, he also has a motive, but makes it clear that he will not tell her anything. He then joins hands with Devika and assures her that he will help her whenever required. Meanwhile, Shubra continues to flirt with the milkman, much to Kunjan's annoyance. On the other hand, Neel meets Saloni and tells her that Devika is not Chandni. He also tells Saloni that he and Nahar had also met Aruna, the lady who brought up Devika. Saloni asks Neel to take her to Aruna. Neel obliges and takes Saloni there. While talking casually, Aruna tells Saloni that she never got married. However, soon Aruna gets irked when Saloni asks her various questions about Devika. Saloni and Neel leave, but she gets suspicious when she sees Devika's caretaker going inside the house. She asks a roadside hawker about Devika's caretaker and gets shocked to know that he is the husband of Aruna. Saloni then tells Neel that she is now sure that the lady is lying about Devika.
