Touched by the Das family's hospitality, the British men decide to leave their guest house. Pritram blesses Rani for protecting his property with wisdom. Afterwards, Rani gets worried when Jogmaya asks her to sleep beside Padma. However, Padma refuses to sleep beside Rani, which upsets her. Jogmaya decides to talk to Padma later. Shorojo puts Madhab and Ram Chandra to bed. Upon seeing Shoroju comforting Ram Chandra, Abhay chides her and misbehaves with her.
