Sanjay Maharaj Bhosle Velukar continues the narration of St Janabai’s story through her ‘Abhanga’. One day, god delays his arrival in Janabai’s hut, and an angry and exhausted Janabai dozes off, leaving god alone doing the chores. The next day, Janabai is accused of stealing god’s jewellery, and is about to be hanged. As her last wish, Janabai goes to the temple and abuses god as per her right. She accuses him of sending good people to hell and granting salvation to the sinful.
