After Nishikant refuses to appoint Aditya as the nayeb, Madhobi walks off with Aditya and her son. Lokenath then asks Nishikant’s wives to complete the rituals by giving him the offerings. He then blesses Nishikant’s first wife by saying that her wish will be fulfilled soon. Meanwhile, a groom’s family comes to meet Annapurna. They then ask for Annapurna’s natal charts which leaves Balaram’s family worried. When Lokenath learns that Annapurna’s marriage has almost been fixed, he feels sad.
