While Shaalini was cleaning the kitchen, she gets a call from Abhay. When she avoids him, he calls to the landline. She tells him that if she were her boss, she would have fired him from the job. Shanthi overhears this conversation and noticing this Shaalini keeps the phone down. When Abhay calls to the landline again, Shanthi receives it, and without knowing this Abhay keeps on telling that during his previous call he thought there might be his mother somewhere near to Shaalini which lead her to disconnect the call. Shalini is from a lower middle class family who works as a school teacher and Abhay is a TV journalist , Abhay makes a false news against her and makes her lose her job, he realizes the mistake and helps her in regaining the job, during this process they become friends and Abhay falls for her simplicity and straight forwardness he falls in love with her Shalini says she has always seen him as only a good friend and says she has no special feelings for him.
