Vidya goes to the hospital the next morning and waits for Sagar but when he is about to open the door, a lady taps on his shoulder and takes him away. After a while, when Vidya asks the ward boy about Sagar, he replies that the visiting hours are over. Vidya goes away disheartened as Sagar watches her leave. He thanks the person standing with him, who turns out to be none other than Sindoora! Sindoora praises him for obeying her because they were doing everything only for Vidya's happiness. Sindoora is triumphant about her ploys, right from the nurse speaking about the disastrous result of an operation before Sagar was going to undergo a surgery, to saving Sagar from the fire to convince Aniket how repentant she was! And finally, when Sagar began to believe that Vidya was not happy with him! Sindoora had convinced him that Vidya can be happy only if he recovers completely or goes far away from her! Sindoora is pleased that she has trapped Sagar and he'd never be able to escape from the mental asylum! Meanwhile, she reminds Sagar not to tell anyone that she is helping him. Back at home, Harsh taunts Vidya that Sagar will never return. Vidya retorts that he has no right to say that, so Chandra snaps at Vidya for speaking rudely with Harsh. Chandra accuses her of being responsible for Sagar's condition deteriorating and warns her that she is worth only a tuppence! Just then Sindoora warns Chandra to think before talking and defends Vidya. Sindoora apologises to Vidya on her behalf.
