Annalakshmi scolds Vadivel for humiliating Manikkam. Amudha and Senthil save a little girl from kidnappers. Later, Amudha and Senthil get marriage proposals.

Annalakshmi refuses the alliance when the girl’s family sets a condition. Annalakshmi praises Amudha, who protects the lamp from blowing off. Amudha gets upset when Nagu teases her.

Senthil spots Amudha’s anklets in the car. He has a bitter argument with his cousin for humiliating Annalakshmi. Senthil informs Manikkam that he is attracted to Amudha and goes in search of her.

Amudha is fascinated by Senthil when she learns about his profession. She is happy when she sees Senthil’s picture as the prospective groom. Annalakshmi is glad to see Amudha’s picture.

Pooja hides the truth and teases Senthil when he professes his love to Amudha. Kumaresan’s son meets Amudha at the temple. Senthil is glad to discover that Amudha is his prospective bride.

Senthil and Amudha have a romantic conversation over the phone. Chidambaram invites Palani’s father to attend the bride-seeing ceremony. Later, Senthil buys a sari for Amudha.

Amudha is happy when Senthil visits her. Chidambaram hits Vadivelu for playing a prank on him. Senthil and the family decide to meet Amudha, but their car breaks down on the way.

Kumaresan argues with Manikkam and Senthil when they come to meet Amudha. Amudha gets upset when Chidambaram understands the confusion and politely asks Annalakshmi to leave.

Kumaresan’s family rejects Amudha when they discover that she loves Senthil. Palani scolds Kumaresan as he worries about Amudha. Later, Amudha refuses when Senthil asks her to marry him secretly.

Selva decides to fulfil Amudha’s wish and informs Chidambaram about it. Amudha is happy when Chidambaram decides to meet Senthil. However, Paramu’s husband ignores Chidambaram when he visits Senthil.

Elango informs Amudha about the humiliation faced by Chidambaram. Amudha is dejected when Chidambaram decides to meet Kumaresan. Annalakshmi scolds Paramu on learning about the incident from Amudha.

Annalakshmi apologises to Chidambaram for all the incidents that occurred. Chidambaram talks to Kumaresan about getting Uma and Palani married. Later, Chidambaram speaks to Annalakshmi about it.

Uma is left dejected when Chidambaram fixes her marriage with Palani. Palani tells Kumaresan the reason he agreed to marry Uma. Amudha assures Annalakshmi that she will take care of the family.

Amudha informs Manikkam when Annalakshmi faints on hearing Senthil’s words. Senthil recalls his past and the reason for deceiving Annalakshmi. Nagu scolds Amudha when she tells him everything.

Amudha notices Uma, who is upset when Palani doesn't call her. Palani shares his conspiracy with Ganesha against Senthil. Nagu, with a plan, asks Ilango to hand over the ornaments to Annalakshmi.

Ilango gives the ornaments to Annalakshmi. Nagu uses this as an opportunity and asks Koda to stop Amudha’s engagement. Nagu plans to humiliate Senthil’s family during the engagement but fails.

Annalakshmi and Manikkam are delighted when Uma-Palani and Amudha-Senthil get engaged. Amudha is upset when Koda and Nagu taunt her at the function. Later, Amudha meets Senthil.

Manikkam tells Senthil about Annalakshmi’s desire. Annalakshmi prepares delicacies for Amudha. Vadivelu pulls a prank on Chidambaram.

Senthil is surprised when Amudha reveals the real reason for marrying him. Senthil informs Manikkam about it. Later, he decides to reveal truth and asks Amudha to meet him.

Amudha feels cheated and hits Senthil for lying that he is a teacher. Uma lashes out at Amudha for ruining her life. Nagu humiliates Annalakshmi while selecting the wedding sari.

A school teacher's visit to the store terrifies Senthil. Nagu gets annoyed when Amudha goes to Senthil’s house. She complains about it to Chidambaram.

Vadivelu argues with Nagu for speaking ill about Annalakshmi. He humiliates Amudha over the phone when Senthil scolds him. Later, upset by Annalakshmi’s words Vadivel leaves the house.

Annalakshmi apologises to Chidambaram for Vadivel’s behaviour. Disturbed by the incidents, Annalakshmi laments to Senthil and announces her decision. Amudha seeks Nadhiya’s help to record Senthil.

Amudha helps Uma when the latter has a fall. She tells Annalakshmi to end the enmity with Kumaresan’s family. Nadiya spots Senthil working as a clerk.

Nadiya keeps Amudha in the dark about Senthil’s profession. Palani, with a motive, agrees when Annalakshmi asks him to resolve his differences with Amudha. Chidambaram and Amudha are happy about it.
