Preetam

Preetam is a 1971 drama starring Shammi Kapoor, Leena Chandavarkar. Rukmini gives birth to a baby boy Preetam while her cruel husband Rana is in prison. She passes away shortly after giving the baby to her brother Thakur and his wife. Rana breaks out of prison. Thakur tells him that his wife and son are both dead. When Rana demands money, they call the police who take him back to prison. Years later, Preetam is compelled to marry his dead brother Anil's fiance as she is pregnant with Anil's child.
