Nijam is 2003 Tamil dubbed crime drama film starring Mahesh Babu, Rakshita Gopichand and Raasi. Venkateswarlu is a brave fire officer who leads a happy life with his wife Shanti and son Seetaram. One day, Venkateswarlu is called to douse a fire. There he catches Devudu, a mafia don, throwing kerosene at the marketplace. Devudu holds a grudge against Venkateswarlu and sends him to jail. Venkateswarlu is killed by a dishonest police officer. Shanti and Seetaram decide to avenge his death.

Nijam Movie Plot
Venkateswarlu is a brave fire department officer who leads a contented life with his wife Shanti and son Seetaram. He is a fearless man commanding the respect of everyone, except a local mafia don named Devudu. One day, there is a fire outbreak at the marketplace and Venkateswarlu is summoned to douse the flames. As he and his co-workers are busy suppressing the fire, Venkateswarlu notices Devudu spraying kerosene around the area in an attempt to destroy the place. Venkateswarlu confronts Devudu, warning him of dire consequences, but the goon has high connections, and he frames the poor fireman instead. Venkateswarlu is thus framed on false charges, and as fate would have it, he dies under mysterious circumstances. Now, it is left to Shanti and Seetaram to avenge the death of their beloved hero.
