The Karate Kid II Movie Plot
The Karate Kid 2 English movie starts with the end of the first part, where Daniel LaRusso has won the Karate tournament. Whereas Johnny Lawerence, the opponent of Daniel, is attacked by John Crease for losing the karate battle with Daniel.
The movie completely changes the theme and shows a six-month later incident where Miyagi is moving to Okinawa (an island in Japan) to see his unwell father. He takes Daniel along, who is disturbed by his recent breakup. While they were on their way to meet his father, Miyagi spoke about Sato, his best friend, who had married his then-girlfriend and wanted to fight with Miyagi.
While reaching Japan, Miyagi and Daniel are welcomed by Sato's nephew. And Sato continuously demands a fight with Miyagi. On the island, they discovered that the wealthiest man in the town, Sato, had been brutally treating the island's people.
In a few days, Miyagi's father dies. Miyagi and Daniel are threatened by Sato and his most powerful student Chozen. Many fights, action, and drama occur between the two ends.
Toward the end of The Karate Kid II movie, a typhoon hits the island, and Miyagi and Daniel save Sato from the chaos. The very next day, Sato apologized to Miyagi. A party leads to happiness among the friends in the village, where Chozen attacks Kumiko (Daniel's love interest). The latter threatens Daniel to fight him.
The fight grew rigorous, and Daniel was losing. However, everyone in the village starts beating the drum, which reminds Daniel of the Drum technique taught by Miyagi some days ago. Daniel beats Chozen and wins the fight.
